First Taste: Silver - The Neighbourhood

Ummmmmm well you seeeee.. It is really awkward for me when I chose a song for the open or the close, and then realize the song itself is pretty damn lame. This is what we have here with The Neighbourhood, one of the hottest alternative bands in the game right now. They currently have 'Sweater Weather' out on Top 40 radio stations, and would not be surprised if another song will be out for the alternative stations. Their album is pretty good albeit it is dark and might put you in a bad mood thus I can understand this song more than I think someone who just listened to their one song. But at the same time, I have to be critical of it as the song feels like an attempt to distance themselves from their first album. We see this all the time with artists, and more times than not, it fails for them. I will admit sometimes with songs like these, it takes more than one listen.
