Jerry Blevins gets his Nationals Uniform in record time.

In a minor deal yesterday, Oakland Athletics dealt reliever Jerry Blevins to Washington for a minor league. Blevins had some fun with the signing by making a homemade Washington Nationals uniform out of a couple sheets of paper. This is probably the most creative thing I have seen from a pro athlete via social media when he has learned about the trade. Usually it is just 'Want to thank the fans of the city of x for supporting me' and then 'city y I am coming, be ready!!!!' Something to that affect or they talk about how excited they are to join the team even if they are playing in the Yukon Territory.

Charlie.
