I believe every time the day before the two teams play, the basketball managers go at it. I know they do it at least once a year. Most of the time, the games are pretty cool and a great primer to the actual game. Remember last year, Duke's manager team hit a game-winner to beat Carolina. Tar Heels ended up winning the game and the fight. The big man in the middle delivers a Greg Ostertag like elbow in the middle and hell breaks loose with everybody wanting to get in on the scrap. It does not appear like we had some throw an actual punch but nonetheless, always cool to see how far this rivalry runs no matter what the sport is. Carolina won the game, and it is great start to the rivalry game which tips off tonight at Chapel Hill on 8:00 pm. (H/T Fayetteville Observer) Charlie.
