For those who do not know, I went to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire right around the same time Bon Iver blew up. I started listening to his music around my sophomore year of college, and then by my senior year, he played a show at Zorn Arena in one of the best concerts I have been to. Since then, Justin Vernon, the man behind Bon Iver, put out another album as well as one with Volcano Choir and The Shouting Matches. Vernon does a commercial for Red Wing shoes where he takes them around Eau Claire explaining the outdoors of the city. I miss this place from time to time, and this does not help me yearn for the days of college. Let's have a good Friday, Tappers. Charlie.
