Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho believes that out-of-favour defender Ashley Cole could be snapped up by an MLS team in the summer.
Cole has struggled to earn a regular starting spot at Stamford Bridge since the return of Mourinho for his second stint in charge last summer. Mourinho has opted to utilise Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back but has always insisted that Cole still has a role to play with the club he joined from Arsenal in 2006. However, the Portuguese has now revealed that he feels the England international could have his head turned at the end of the term by former team-mate Thierry Henry who is currently enjoying his football in the MLS with New York Red Bulls. Mourinho said: "Maybe Thierry is doing with the Red Bulls the same as David [Beckham] did with Miami. "Yes [Cole] has [a future at Chelsea], but maybe Thierry has a better proposal."
