Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho could put Spain international striker Fernando Torres on the market in the summer, as the Blues look to pursue a new striker to lead their attacking line for next season.
Fernando Torres has struggled to reproduce the form that made him a cult hero for his former club Liverpool since arriving at Stamford Bridge and has at times been made a scapegoat for Chelsea's poor form and lack of goals. Torres is believed to be ready to return to his homeland as he seeks a fresh challenge elsewhere. Atletico Madrid, his former club, are amongst the teams interested in a move for Torres and have apparently told their first choice striker Diego Costa that he could be allowed to leave in the summer if a significant bid is made. Chelsea are reportedly ready to sell the striker for a fee of around £13.5 million.
