Sochi Viewing Guide Day 7

Written By Unknown on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 | 10:46 PM

First of all, I would like to extend an apology for not getting a viewer guide up. I fell asleep working on something else, but I decided to change the format. It makes no sense to drop this in the middle of Sochi time. Why not do it around midnight, and make it run through the day until First Taste happens at 8:30 am. That's what we are going with here, and if you do not like it, I do not care. The format is changing basically giving you a timeline of what will be on television. I also will not post everything, just the marquee stuff.

What's on today?
Happening Now:
There are three curling matches going on right now as Norway battles Germany, USA takes on Denmark and China and Switzerland go at it. USA-Denmark will air on NBCSN at 2:00 am. Where can find it: Stream

1:00 am - Women's Downhill Skiing - They will be medaling in this one so it is worth the midnight oil to stay up and watch for a bit. s well as women's super-combined alpine skiing. Not the best night in terms of events, but at least there are medal events to watch. Where can I find it: Stream

2:00 am - Women's Hockey - We have Switzerland taking on Finland. For those unfamiliar, Swiss do not have a good team. Where can I find it: MSNBC

4:00 am - Women's Curling - USA is taking on China in a matchup that can mean more than just curling. Just kidding. Where can I find it: USA Network

6:30 am - Women's Hockey - USA v. Canada - These two hate each other. They fought the last time they played and I am giving consideration to waking it up for this one. Where can I find it: NBCSN

8:00 am - Men's 1000M Speedskating - You will probably know whether Shani Davis has another gold medal by the time you wake up. Where can I find it: Stream

9:45 am - Pairs Free Skating - This is a medal event. I assume Russian Arcade Fire will win this one although the German skate team rocking a pink suit that I need and want. NBCSN said they have free skate this morning, but I assume they will not show a medal event so probably need to stream it. Where can I find it: Stream

9:45 am - Men's Luge Doubles - Once again, a medal event with NBCSN doing some Luge coverage a little later during the day, but I would assume they show the medaling part too. If you want to watch it right away, stream. Where can I find it: Stream

11:00 am - Men's Hockey - SO IT BEGINS... We have Czech Republic versus Sweden meaning we will get Handsome Hank. Definitely worth the time.  Where can I find it: USA Network

11:00 am - Men's Hockey - Latvia takes on Switzerland, and I would be dammed if I knew a player from each team. But still could get fun.Where can I find it: MSNBC

11:45 am - Women's Snowboard - Halfpipe finals will be the last event of the day, but for those at home, it can be streamed.  Where can I find it: Stream

NBC Primetime - All of the medal events I talked about will be on NBC later in the day if you need it so that's awesome for those without a stream or at work.

Images, links, pictures and everything else about the Olympics
