First Taste: Demons (White Panda Remix) - Imagine Dragons

You guys know I am a big The White Panda fan, and I need to see them sooner rather than later in the coming months. It appears they are going away from the mashups to more EDM-related stuff. They take Imagine Dragons' smash hit 'Demons' and make it into an electro song. Apparently, the SoundCloud critics complained about the bass drop but I know next to nothing about the production of EDM music. This song got killed by the radio, and the fact it is not the best song either hurts my likability of the track yet I still think it is good enough to blast at the gym or at the bars meaning it is good enough for everyone.

First Taste: Kendrick Lamar & Imagine Dragons Make Beautiful Music

When I heard Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons were performing together at last night's Grammy's awards, I tried to keep an open mind about it but I expected it to be horrible. I am not the biggest Imagine Dragons fan as they have beaten to death by radio among other reasons. Instead, it was awesome with Kenny Lamar going completely off showing why he is 'King Kendrick.' What I loved about Kendrick's performance is he went with a song not many casual fans would know with 'maad city.'  The collaboration blended in nicely with Imagine Dragons smash hit 'Radioactive.'

Closing Time: Firefly II - The White Panda

Here's some new stuff from The White Panda to close us out. They are traditionally a two-song mashup group, but they decided to throw a bunch of songs together in this one sampling Imagine Dragons, Sleigh Bells, Foo Fighters, Childish Gambino, Band of Horses and Outkast. It is a nice change of pace from The White Panda as it still brings the upbeat pace we are used to from the group, but the added song give it a nice variety. Night Tappers, hopefully we will have enough content tomorrow. Not used to having a Friday without any sort of football to look forward to this weekend.
